Hi Stampers!
Once a week, I will be sharing a new card for inspiration and ideas.  When you need a card in a hurry, grab one of these ideas from my Blog and have crafting fun!

 


I have a very pretty card to share with you today.  This is a card we did in my last card class. It has lots of possibilities as far as changing colors, using different embossing folders or patterned paper and choosing a stamped or digi image. In this card, the image was printed, colored and fussy cut using scissors.  If you don't like doing all that scissoring, you can stamp the image onto the oval cardstock and color as shown in the example below. So many possibilities and so much FUN!
This card is perfect for birthdays and Mother's Day.

  


Supplies:
White Base Cardstock – 8 ½” x 5 ½”
White Card for top Note Shape – 4” x 5”
White Card for Oval – 3 ½” x 2 ½”
Scrap White for Sentiment
Pink (or other color) Cardstock – inner background 5 ¼” x 4”
Pink (or other color) Cardstock – for scallop oval – 4 1/5” x 3”
Pink (or other color) matching Ribbon (optional)
Stamped and Cut Image (I used a digi stamp by Floppy Latte, my favorite digi stamp designer. You can purchase it by clicking HERE.)
Markers to Color
Word window Punch
Modern Label Punch
Embossing Folders – Dots, Stripes, Vintage Background (optional)
Big Shot 
Instructions: 
·       Cut all pieces of cardstock to size.
·       Cut out the Top Note Shape, Oval and scallop oval.
·       Emboss the inner background and the top note shape.
·       Stamp or print the main image, color image
·       Punch the pink (or other color) Modern Label Punch shape 
To assemble the card:
·       Fold Base Cardstock in half
·       Glue inner background to card front
·       Glue the Top Note Shape to the inner background
·       Glue the colored image oval onto the scallop oval shape and attach to the card front using foam dimensional (optional)
·       Stamp your sentiment on white cardstock, then punch with word window or other label punch.
·       Glue the sentiment piece onto the modern label piece and attach them to the card front using foam dimensional (optional)
·       If you are using a ribbon, tie a small bow and glue it with a glue dot to the base of the colored image right over the sentiment. 
Tips:  You can create this card in many different color combinations using different stamped images for a variety of different occasions.
